Every single day i get a notification from PluginUpdater, that there is
a new version of WebServicesPlugin available. Every single day i say,
yes - download it and install. And every single day this procedure is
repeated again :) . Is it a PluginUpdater i should blame ?

Yes. There is no newer version of the plugin than the one bundled with IDEA.
