IntelliJ IDEA 6.0 is available

Hello everyone,

We're happy to announce the final release of IntelliJ IDEA 6.0. The final
release is available at the usual location: http://www.jetbrains.com/idea/download/index.html

On behalf of the entire JetBrains team, I would like to express my thanks
to everyone who participated in the EAP program. We implemented hundreds
of new features and fixes that were directly influenced by your feedback.
Hope to see you all again in the EAP for the next version. :)

(And we're sorry for some glitches you may see on our Web site today - we're
still making last-minute tweaks.)

Hi Nikolay,

I only use Windows's firewall. I tried to stop it but still have same problem.

Hello Mark,

>> Now, what can we expect to see in 6.5? :P
>>
MD> Shipped/supported Groovy, Jython, JRuby, Scala, Semplice (the SUN
MD> Visual Basic compiler?) could be rockin ;)

Shipping/supporting is still not decided, but in any case all our work on
additional language support is independent from mainline IDEA development.
So feel free to share your wishes on the core stuff. :)

Not only for local variables like now. In other words transparent Shift+F6 invocation. Am I wrong Dave?

Right, including from the project panel. Mostly a usability polishing.

Well...

This is first Idea version I cannot use :)

java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: PermGen space immediately after opening the project
though the command line contains -Xms32m -Xmx512m.

In Task Manager I see that jvm takes only 280mb of the virtual memory...

Do you start IntelliJ in some special way?
