VM Crash

Hello Michael,

ups, now IDEA don't like me any more:
#3425 silently crashes on startup
hserr.pid attached.
happens with idea.exe and also with idea.bat

Does removing IDEA_HOME\bin\FileWatcher*.dll files help?

Hi Serge,

thanks for answering. I now assume that those crashes are not the fault of IDEA.

My notebook has some hardware problem causing random blue screens, that only disappears when I set the CPU Clock multiplier to a lower value.

I found out that the original value is restored after coming back from standby mode. This probably has caused IDEA crashing.

I will have to get the notebook repaired...
