RCOD (Red Circle of Doom)
Lately I've finding that I am getting angrier and angrier with the RCOD. I don't know if it's that time of the month, or if there's something more sinister at play, but the damn thing really really annoys me. Sure, it's better than a pop up window that pops up every 2 seconds, but for some reason the RCOD is too 'distracting' visually to just ignore.
Even when I do succumb and click on it, I'm further punished by it taking a few seconds to actually pop up the dialog.
I'm wondering if I'm the only one who wants it to be a bit less visually demanding. For example, it shouldn't flash, and instead of the flashing animator thingy being reset every time a new exception is caught (resulted in RCOD jitters), a small and subtle number could be imposed on the RCOD showing how many exceptions it's currently crying about.

On MacOS, "Bad File Descriptor" are a plague. I would give my neighbour
eye and arm for a "don't flash for this exception" button.
If only we had a way to tell IDEA that some exceptions are Ok, and that
they just need to be recorder, not reported...

At least for EAP that've been noisy at purpose. We need those bugreports
and we need ensure it's been paid necessary attention.
BTW, I haven't seen any exception reports from you lately Hani :)) Does that
mean you no longer seeing RCOD or used to ignore that?

Aww I didn't think you cared! I've been feeling somewhat depressed about the fixes so had given up on reporting them, but now that I know someone cares, I'll make sure to report all RCOD activity ;)
