Basic usage of maven and InteliJ 10.5

Hello,

I am new to InteliJ and if this question is basic and docuemented somewhere, please send me a link. I created a maven project and under it a maven module, updated my POM to have all the relevant dependencies and my project compile OK. but when i run a simple java class the jars in the maven dependecies are not in my classpath. did i miss anything in my module configuration or run configuration?

Thanks,
Guy

Hard to say without a sample project. Check the Module dependencies in the Project Structure, ensure all the jars are listed there.
Also check that Run/Debug configuration specifies the classpath of the correct module which has the required jars in the dependencies.

All the dependencies are there the code compile but when i look at the execution line the lib folder is not there, do i need to add it manually ? the same POM is working well with eclipse and maven plugin. in case i didnt mention i am using the community edition with no plugin.

I think i am missing a simple configuration in my module. should i attach any file here for assistance?

Please file a bug at http://youtrack.jetbrains.net/issues/IDEA with the sample project attached.
