How to disable local history in Idea 10.5 ?

Hello Anton,

It's not possible to disable the local history feature. A number of other
features, such as undo for whole-file operations (move/rename/delete), rely
on it.

I use git for my projects and commit quite often (several times per
hour). I don't need local history in Idea because I already have it in
git. How can I disable local history feature?

Another reason for disabling local history is disk access while using
it on laptop.
