IDEA 10 - PHP Deployment
Hi, i use IDEA 10 for php development.
Where has the "Download from Server"-function gone? I know it was there
in any previous release. PHPStorm has it too.
Is there an equivalent in IDEA?
Thanks

Hello Tilman,
It should be there. First, please ensure that 'Remote Host Access' plugin is enabled. Then check that you have configured server correctly and marked it as default (File | Settings | Deployment). Finally, pelase review your deployment mappings. Note: deployment actions are available only for mapped files and folders.

Hello Kirill,
thanks for your reply.
Uploading files to remote host is possible, i just wonder where the
download functionality is gone.
(I configured several local paths to remote hosts. I can connect to them.)
I am sure that i was able to download files in a previous version.

Hello Tilman,
Download should be there, can you please attach a screenshot of your context menu where you expect to have Download?
Thanks,
Kirill

Hello Kirill,
thank you for your help and patience.
As you said it is there. I have several hosts configured in IDEA but had
no host defined as default.
If i set a host as default i get the missing deployment-context-menu as
i was used to.
So this menu only shows up for the default host? Is it possible to
define different default hosts for different directories (as configured
in mappings) ?

Hello Tilman,
It is kind of common catch, we will probably rethink it in future versions.
Currently not, feel free to submit a feature request at http://youtrack.jetbrains.net/issues/WI#newissue=yes.
