Modified-tab markers (*) still broken

I still can't reliably reproduce this on my machine. As soon as I get idea
how this stuff happens this will be fixed for sure.

Really?

The following scenario always works for me:
- with 5 files open (and no VCS configured)
- modify file 2, then 3, then 4
- while still in file 4, press Ctrl-S
- only file 2 gets its marker cleared

Here is how...

Turn off the following options:
Save Files on frame deactivation
Save files automatically if application...

Open up a few of files
Edit a few of them
On the file you're on press command + s (osx) to save, only one file
changes its status
Go to other files and press command + s the * stays.

ROFL... nice... I'll have one of those (the english one) with my donut

incidentally, if you're ever in Fort Lauderdale, FL, check out the
topless donut shop. I forget its name, but yes the waitresses are
topless serving our favorite morning breakfast :) (and yes you can
have a beverage of your choice, but I won't go down that path)
