IG Telemetry Question
Hey Dave,
quickly looking at the IG Telemetry toolwindow, I think it
would be useful to be able to sort the rows based on any
column.
Also, having the window vertical (left or right) instead of
horizontal by default might be more appropriate: narrow
columns for numbers and a wider one for the inspection name.
In that case you could make column labels shorter ("Total",
"Avg", "Count") with the full label as a tooltip.
Are you planning on a way to have IDEA (automatically) send
you gathered metrics?

And hitting the 'refresh' button shouldn't resize the columns back
to their default IMHO :)

Don't get me wrong, these are all good suggestions, and I would absolutely implement them if IG Telemetry was going to be a production feature (more precisely, I would never have released in the first place without them). IG Telemetry is purely diagnostic, and will be removed from production builds. As such, any time I spend polishing the UI is time I could have better spent improving IG performance, building new inspections or intentions, or finally doing a MetricsReloaded release. The numbers I'm getting from IG Telemetry are already extremely valuable, even if they are slightly uglier to look at than they might be.

The problem is though - its not easy to get the numbers to you.
You cant sort the columns, I cant copy / paste the entire table, there is no "export top 10 times" to file type option.
A simple "dump table to CSV file" would be a great, simple, addition.
Makes sense, and Nick's comments make sense too (that's why
I initially posted my suggestions). And you're right, someone needs
time to fix this "Unnecessary Fully Qualified Name" inspection ;)
