Interesting display refresh behavior with 3260...

I just downloaded 3260 and loaded my project in it. 3260 lost most of
my color settings. Specifically it lost the color foregrounds for most
things except fields, keywords. So I got a very nice sweese cheese
display. I had to go in the colors and font setting and turn on the
foreground for most to get my old colors back. Even now, I still see
my package statement as:

package . . . ;

package is fg in keyword color. If I hilit the line then I see the
full text for the above line.

I use black background (legacy from CRT)

Equally interesting is when I close an editor and open a file again.
The editor for about 1 sec loses all of my fg setting and then with a
visible, noticeable pause, hilitis rest of the text as per my color
scheme.

Not sure what is going on - black bg, 3260, FC3

PS: I am still trying to figure out how to get my package line back.
