reopen project
what do you think about this feature request: (it's vital! ;)
- in addition to File->Reopen, offer File->Reopen in new Window and make the original reopen always open in same window.
This would save me the "No"-Answer eacht time.
Yes, I know I'm really lazy ;)

+1
(Either that or add:
Never bother me again.)
I like this "never ask again" idea better. The menus are too cluttered already
to add a new menu item.

I agree with that. From the UI perspective it means the UI adapts to a
user - asks once and then 'knows'.
I would add to this something in the spirit of Explorer Del and
Shift-Del paradigm - if the user reopens a project and Shift is pressed,
do the opposite of the (never asked again) answer, as a shortcut for
the infrequent case. This is not very visible to the novice user, but is
a power user feature to begin with.

As there are many other places where a "never ask again" checkbox would
be welcome, there is a need for an "never ask again" tab in IDE
settings, to regroup them all.
The 2 places where I miss it the most :
- available plugins
(asking if it may download from the internet)
- closing the app (NEW)
(confirm you want to close the app)

Sounds like an excellent idea to me. (Partly because it is an extension to my idea :D).
agreed for "not another additional menu entry".
But I think I would prefer some kind of knob
at the right side of each reopen-entry, which you can click to "reopen in new window", while "normal" click on the project name will open in same window.
advantages:
1. In the rare cases when I want to open 2 projects, I save pressing shift :)
2. Novice user has same possibilities without having to answer a yes-no question.

I like the idea of adding a never ask again box as well.
You should open a tracker for this.
See also my suggestion of changing the wording of this dialog around as well:

Even if I'm switching projects once in a month, I still would like to have this option stored somewhere. You know its just not the click, but there's some mind share being wasted everytime the dialog pops up. I think this is one dialog where I actually have to think carefully before making the choice. Arrgghhh...
so, +1.
This is a good point. If you make the wrong choice, it could mean several lost minutes as Idea is still not exactly blazingly fast when it comes to opening big projects.
