Tip number 1: ALWAYS check the To line of an email BEFORE you click send!
I guess Thunderbird works the same way as the "old" Mozilla: Ctrl-M sends a mail if you're in a mail folder but a newsgroup message if you're reading a newsgroup. I've been about to do the same thing several times when I didn't check where I was before my fingers started typing.
Seems the fastest way to make sure I send a mail rather than a newsgroup post is to switch to the browser (away from Mozilla Mail) before pressing Ctrl-M...
Call them back and have them transfer all of the funds from Chris Stevens'
account to my account. :)
