File templates broken?
I may be dense, but I can't seem to get the file template facility to work -
for non-java files, that is - for java files it seems to work just fine.
When I do right-click New-> on a non-src directory, shouldn't I get a list
of templates below the "File" and "Directory" options?
Any hints? (btw, I'm running build 915 - and very happy with it too!)

Edwin

One thing that has changed in 915 is that you are not shown the templates
with unknown file types. To show them just register this file type.
Since you can not create this template anyway this change is rather a
feature than a restriction.

Ok, that makes sense, - but I was trying to create a web.xml file - that's a
known/built-in type & template. How should that work? It seems the template
isn't 'triggered'.

Still seems to be broken in build 1174 (yes that's the right number, and yes its now 3/9/2004), we still cannot create a web.xml file using the file templates! Come on guys, I'm beginning to lose faith here :)
Could you please explain in detail what are you doing ?
Or better yet, post the bug into the www.intellij.net/tracker
