Wicket code completion?

Hi all,

Small question: is it possible to have Wicket code completion in IntelliJ? My HTML looks like this:

]]>

But IntelliJ says that "xmln:wicket" is not allowed here (even though IntelliJ put it there, using an intention. So I was wondering:is it possible to autocomplete wicket HTML tags (like wicket:extend, wicket:child, wicket:id, etc?)

Thanks,

Erik

PS: I did use the Wicket plugin, which is nice, but it still doesn't allow me to code complete. Or I might be missing an option?

There's no built-in Wicket support, but there's a plugin for it:
http://plugins.intellij.net/plugin/?id=1545

Hi Dmitry,

I know there's an plugin, like I said in my PS message. I'm not much interested in the Wicket plugin functionality, but I am interested in the code completion. I was hoping this could be done by using an XSD/DTD for the wicket namespace, but maybe this is not possible?

I would also hope that IDEA could auto-complete the XML based on the namespace. Does IDEA suggest providing the resource for that namespace? If not, maybe it depends on what type of file IDEA thinks it is (based on the extension of the source file name)? I'm only guessing, though.

Hi,

I was wondering if this ever got resolved? I'd be OK with

<wicket:id> and the like just not showing as red (i.e. unbound namespace).

Thanks in advance,

Spencer
