Icons meaning?
This might be a stupid question, but I couldn't find anything in the forums, nor on the online help (and the inline doesn't work for me -- maybe I should do a full install instead of upgrading from .tgz, but that's another topic):
where can I find a list of the class icons and their meaning? I see sometimes a J with nothing, for java files, sometimes a J with a small cross or a small bubble in an upper corner... What do those mean?

The small cross means it's excluded from compilation.
The small bubble, I've never seen.

This brings up a good point that we are probably at the stage where a
good Legend should document all of these in one place for new users of
the 4.0 release.

Any idea, what the meaning of this red crossed file icons in the project pane is ? (see attached screenshot).

The red crossed icons mean that your java file isn't in your sourcepath.
