Why when I open a Java file outside the project I get not code completion?
It's a basic test file I want to run, there is that / through the file and I have no code completion support? This should be trivial geesh.

Completion requires a deep, intimate and total knowledge of the static environment or context within which a name is to be resolved in order to enumerate potential referents. Outside a project, IDEA does not have and / or cannot validly infer knowledge about potential completions that is required to offer potential completions.

What even for basic JDK classes??
That is all I'm trying to use in my test class.
There is no single JDK. IDEA needs to know which specifically you're using.
