I'm always impressed with the IntelliJ dev team. I love the EAP program. It makes programming more fun at work since I am always getting to play with new features :)
I think you will be more patient... JetBrains team now in pre-release stage, i guess. So, please do not worry about next build. The guys is on har-worker mode now, and it's not AI programers, and also not Indian Ofshores - the JetBrains programmers is guru-java-developers. Most of them developed TogetherJ before work in JetBrains.
Again, just be patient! I think we get next build soon. Thank you!
PS. This build is not stopsheet bugged.Only two things may angry us - NPE on right click on project root and NPE in JSP editing.

What about the debugger? I cannot use this build because the remote debugging doesn't work and when I try to stop it it goes into an endless loop saying an exception has occurred, do I want to send it. This is a huge showstopper for me. I have also been regularly visiting the newsgroups in the hope of a new build. I am really missing the new features.

well, if you start getting "your bug was fixed" mails late Saturday night when everybody is supposed to be out and have fun, you might get a glimpse of what's going on over there...
Yeah it was submitted by me and many others using the bug submit feature. I guess it is being looked at but it must not seem too critical being as it is remote debugging that doesn't work. Shame. :(

"Most of them" is definitely an exaggeration. Who are AI progammers BTW?

I'm in the same boat. All the work I do involves remote debugging and the stack overflow is a showstopper. I'm really hoping the next build will fix this issue.
Maybe exaggeration, maybe. But i know 3 men at leasts who work in TogeterSoft before, and now work on IDEA. I think 3 men is not all, who works on ToghererJ before. Isn't it? ;) BTW, how many people work on IDEA how, if it is not a top secret?
AI programmers, as i can understand - is not programmers - if i get it right. It machines, Artificial Intelligence computers... But maybe i'm wrong :)
OK, it just lyrics, where are is next build?! :)) Give us 937! :)
If only it was MY code. I have to fix bugs and add new features to something so twisted, that I sometimes think the author tried to stick to "How To Write Unmaintainable Code" http://mindprod.com/unmain.html :-). Debugger absolutely essential.

That is all, AFAIK.

Next build is physics then? :)

I'm starting to think that the IntelliJ team is actually just a group of
AI programs that fix/extend code all day long.
Who closes 195 issues in 1 week? Superman, that's who...

If those two NPEs are still there then there's no point releasing the build.

NPE of right click on project root fixed in 937 as i know..
About JSP NPE i don't know that

well, it frustrates me a little bit:

ok, ok, I am working alone and they aren't.
Dirk Dittert
Did you post SCR into tracker?
I think that is it realy stopsheet, then JetBrains fix it it soon and release last good build.
Thanks!
There is another serious bug (35 subimssions), NPE while simplest debugging:
http://www.intellij.net/forums/thread.jsp?forum=13&thread=41525
I cannot work in Aurora at all and had to switch back to Ariadna. With this bug any release is useless for me.

You won't see 937. They are already up to 940.
I wish even 937 :)
In this build fixed all that will be fixed as critical bugs.
BTW, it increment every night by cruisecontrol, i guess.
