How to obtain production release
Hi. My organization has IDEA licenses for all developers. I personally have been downloading the EAP versions and using those. However, 929 isn't working on my machine (Gateway, unknown model, Red Hat Linux 7.3.). It is too unstable. So I want to use the regular production release, version 3.0.5. How can I get a copy of that? I've downloaded a "trial version" and entered my license key, but it would not accept that key.
Thanks,
Ethan

which version of intellij did you purchase?
Idea trial versions are the same as production versions.
Try again. You must have made a mistake entering your key.
FWIW, in the Eap download dir there's also a link to idea #706 that should
be the latest 3.x version.
And a good idea is to copy/paste the key&user name instead of typing them
in.

I checked and found that we bought version 2.6. So I guess that was the problem. I'll request an upgrade from management. Thanks for the replies.
