IDEA 7.0 too slow when opening files

Hello bodhi,

Whenever I try to invoke "Open File" or any file browser, it takes
ages.

IDEA almost looks like dead, and after a long time it comes alive.
Worst still each time I click on a folder to go inside, it takes long
time again.

This problem was not there in 6.0. I'm using windows xp.

Please fix this / suggest solution.
