SVN Switch branches is broken?

Hello all,

I was using IntelliJ to switch between 2 branches (head and something else). After I did that, I had no idea if it worked (I have no idea how to see on which branch I'm working). I changed back to the head (CTRL+T, go to HEAD), and I made a change, committed it, and the change is not there. Now I have absolutely no idea on which branch I committed, if all my projects are on the same branch, etc.

In short: I've lost my fate in SVN + IntelliJ. Who can help me to restore this faith? Being able to see which module (I'm using a multimodule project) is using which branch would be very helpful. Am I missing something?
