How do I get rid of misplaced fold marks
I have selected a wrong part of my code for folding and now I have those wrong fold marks that keep irritating me.
How do I get rid of them?

Found out myself:
Simply close IDEA, restart it and all those added fold marks - the wrong ones and the right ones - are gone.
In German we call this the AEG method: "ausschalten, einschalten, geht
wieder" (switch-off, switch-on, works again) ;)
Helped often with Windows problems.

Collapse the region, put cursor inside and press Ctrl+.
