IDE Talk

Hi,

Apart from access to Jabber, do we need to open any ports in firewalls
etc, so that remote workers can take full advantage of the IDE Talk
features like the local network users can?

Cheers

That would be totally dependent on your network setup. If there is a firewall between your users and your chat server then I would venture to say that you will need to open ports.

The Jabber side of things is fine (we use that for are normal IM
anyway), its the 'diff-ing other users files etc' side of things I was
worried about as I am not sure if that is done via Jabber, or via some
other way
