Intellij's toolbar management

Hello all,

How is it possible to manage the toolbar items? (meaning adding or removing items).

Actually, one reason for showing interest is that my "run" and "run debug" items suddenly disappeared from the toolbar.

thank you, :)

Goto File|Settings if you don't have the setings toolbutton. There is an option named Customizable. I'm sure you can find something there...

OK, that's scary - you can create a customization without the
File-->Settings menu item and without the Settings toolbar button.

I didn't dare picking it and closing the main settings window ;)

What would be the way to get back the settings button?

You have the "default" toolbar on the left pane, so you can always go back to those actions.

Or just press 'add' button and choose Settings from File.

Are you trying to find your settings? You can set a shortcut for them in
keymap, for example.
Did i answer? :)

The problem with IDEA 5.0 toolbar management is that there are very litle icons for menu options provided out of the box. Only options that are present on the default toolbar have icons. If an option that does not have icon is added to toolbar, user can choose from default icon or one from the file system.
That makes toolbar customization very little usefull in real life.
Could more icons be added for menu options 'that are likely to be added on toolbar'?
