Dick Wall finally put together his new podcast, the Java Posse, and the
first episode is an interview with me about IDEA and the whole Java IDE

You say in the interview that GroovyJ plugin uses Language API but as far as I
know it doesn't yet. I think someone else can comment on this but I wanted to
bring it up to make sure we have the right facts.

I'm not too sure about the released versions of GroovyJ, but the latest CVS
version does use Language API.

Whew, so it takes longer than I thought. Too bad I couldn't find a
speech to text program I could download, it would have saved a lot of
time. Anyway, I'm about 75% done. I'll get it up on Monday.

Thanks for chiming in. Yes, GroovyJ's usage of the Language API isn't exposed yet as it is still very much work in progress.

Just finished listening to it actually, I had to rewind when I heard my
name ;p

One thing I noticed you didn't mention was that the
inspections/intentions were also plugins, and can be added by users for
anything they wished.
