OT: PHP support?

It may not help you right now, but you may be interested to read about

It is not exactly what you're looking for, but you may be interested in
this relatively new idea. The MPS tool could certainly be used to create
a PHP IDE, for example (or any other language, for that matter).

I can imagine to make my thesis just about LOP :))

Little question: How about LISP? From the description I believe that LISP is very similar to the charasteristic of LOP. Would it be very alot of (((())))) ?

This is a very common response. The short answer is: No, they are
different. The medium answer is: Lisp 'approaches' LOP in the sense that
it can help simulate DSLs because Lisp's syntax is so simple; but there
is no editor support. The long answer will have to wait for an upcoming
article which will answer this question specifically in much more depth.
