I'm supposing you meant "Ctr + SPACE". It never works for me -- my system is CJK localized. Is this your case?
You can always bind it to other keys. You can follow Eclipse -- it will automatically bind it to "Alt + /" on my system. "Ctr + ;" is also a good candidate.
