[1071] Problem creating a (WebLogic) EJB Module
Using : Build 1071
OS: Windows XP Professional
Problem: IDEA asking for weblogic-cmp-rdbms-jar.xml while creating an EJB
module
Here's what I have done so far:
1 - File>Settings>Project Settings>Paths
2 - Add Module (the + icon)
3 - Select the Create New > EJB Module option
4 - Accepted the default for module name, pointed it to project root
for "Module content root" and accepted the default for "Module
definition will be saved in"
5 - Selected WebLogic server for Application Server integration
6 - Pressing "Next >" at this point results in a NullPointerException
Error message: Error during dispatching of
java.awt.event.MouseEvent[MOUSE_RELEASED,(136,278),button=1,modifiers=Button
1,clickCount=1] on dialog43
java.lang.NullPointerException
7 - Choosing to Ignore this and pressing next results in a dialog box that
reads
Please specify WebLogic EJB Persistence Deployment Descriptor
(weblogic-cmp-rdbms-ejb-jar.xml)
I cannot proceed beyond this point. My questions are:
a) Why should I specify this file?
b) If I am starting on a project am I expected to already have it?
c) What if I don't plan to use CMP?
d) Why do I get prompted with this message even when I make the file
available?
Can you help?
