Is this possible with PHPStorm?

Hi gang,

I'm somewhat new to phpstorm and still trying to learn all it's ins and outs..

I have several projects on my remote server that are under version control there.  I want to be able to open a project on my local dev box that pulls/pushes files from/to the remote box, but can update svn on that remote box and sync my local copy accordingly.

It seems like I can either open a svn copy locally or connect remotely and use sftp to push back and forth, but not both.. Or am I completely off base and just haven't figured it out yet?

Hi Jason,

I'm not sure if this is what you need... but when you commit/submit your changes to VCS from PhpStorm (Commit Changes Dialog) you have an option to upload those changed files to a selected Deployment server (FTP in your case) after commit.

Hi Jason,

Currently there's no way to trigger VCS update on remote box and sync the files, please watch/vote/comment on http://youtrack.jetbrains.net/issue/WI-1284.
