UML Python

 Hi,

I use IDEA 2016.2 Ultimate. I want to view a class hierarchy of my python classes as a UML Class diagram. However, Pressing Ctrl+Shift+Alt+U does nothing and I don't see any context menu entry titled 'Show diagram'. I thought everything I can do in PyCharm I also can do in IDEA because it somehow uses the same codebase? I only see a diagram menu entry when I right-click on a database table.

Any help appreciated.

Please make sure that UML Support plugin is enabled. After that please check that you have menu `Diagrams` in right-click context menu of the file and it works for you. Please tell me about results.

With IntelliJ IDEA 2018.3.5 (Ultimate Edition), and the UML Support plugin enabled:

There is no 'Diagrams' in right-click context menu when a python file is selected.  Why not?

There is the 'Diagrams' in right-click context menu when a directory is selected, but selecting 'Show Diagram' presents a selection for 'java diagram' or 'javascript diagram', no python diagram option.  Selecting either 'java diagram' or 'javascript diagram' shows nothing, just blank.

Btw, how does it go in 2018.2 IDEA EAP with the corresponding Python and UML plugins?
