Missing find "in selection" option

Answered

The IntelliJ editor's find feature does not let you limit the search to the selected text only. There is an "In Selection" option, but it's only enabled for find/replace, not for just find.

Wanted to use the multiple cursors feature to modify a group of methods at the end of my file. The first step was to find all instances I wanted to modify (but not in the whole file) and select-all to place cursors by each of them. I can't limit the find to just a section of the file.

Am I missing something or is this feature completely missing?
