Having trouble Getting Started

Answered

Hello. I just downloaded IntelliJ. I am already having trouble with the setup. I followed the installation process but when I try to create a new project I run into a couple of issues. The first issue is that when I try to create a new Java project I get an error stating that I have no library selected./specified. Shouldn't wherever i installed intelliJ be the library default location? Also, after watching the "Getting Started" video provided by jetbrains I also realized my Android SDK is missing among other things. The only thing I have is Java 8 which is all I thought I need to get started, but I can't even create a new project.

Please clarify what do you mean by a library. It's not required for the Java project.

If you are developing for Android, you have to install Android SDK manually outside of IDEA run SDK Manager, download the platforms that you plan to use and then specify SDK home location in IDEA.
