I'm not sure if this is related to running Spring-Boot specifically, or background processes in general. I'm currently developing a Spring Data REST app using embedded Tomcat, and the Ctrl-N popup stops working correctly when the app is running in the background. The popup still appears, and I can type in it, but no results appear at all. The Search Everywhere popup still works (double Shift). Search Everywhere does include results under the Ctrl-N heading.
I use the Ctrl-N dialog quite often, so it's a pain when this issue comes up. Search Everywhere works, but it's quite a bit slower.
This is on 2016.1.3. The app is using Spring-Boot 1.3.5.RELEASE, built and run with Gradle.
Anyone else had a similar issue?
