Help with unreadable text

The text when I start up Intellij is unreadable, and I've tried multiple times uninstalling and reinstalling and even re downloading the file itself, and still the problem persists.
This is what the text looks like, and it looks the same throughout the entire program. Any ideas?

There is some issue with your default OS font that is used for user interface in IDEA.
You can try to override it via IDE Settings (Ctrl+Alt+S):
