Upgraded from Community to commercial edition, spring app no longer launches

I've been working on a Spring app using CE, and it's been working fine. I needed access to the web service client tools and code generators however, so my employer purchased a commercial license of IntelliJ for me, and now I'm not able to start up the app. Since the only thing that changed between "working" and "not working" was the IDE, this has come as a surprise, but it's also now a blocker.

I didn't uninstall CE, but the app doesn't work in that any longer, either.
