Symbol not found: Class foo – package named rcs

Answered

So I've come across a strange bug in IntelliJ and I'm not sure how to resolve it. We have a package named "rcs" within our project structure and for some reason, other modules that depends on this module cannot find any of the classes within that package when it goes to compile the code.

I've already gone into preferences and removed both "RCS" and "rcs" from the "Ignore files and folders" in preferences. This helped to make the rcs package and it's children packages visible within the editor. I also seem to be able to compile that specific module. But whenever I compile another module that depends on the module with the rcs package, it's unable to find any of those classes.

I suspect that somewhere there is still a hardcoded rcs ignore filter.

Any ideas?
