Not Able to select the Python SDK in IntelliJ Ultimate

  • I'm suddenly unable to select the Python SDK for my Python project on my Windows machine. I have been trying to do so since yesterday, but I have had no luck.

  • I have already tried reinstalling the Python also. I got struck here for the past 2 days can someone please help me on this.

Can you please run the following commands from a terminal and let me know the output?

C:/Users/sesa705217/AppData/Local/Programs/Python/Python312/python.exe -V
C:/Users/sesa705217/AppData/Local/Programs/Python/Python312/python.exe -m venv venvtest

If the commands above produce a valid result can you please send us the IDE logs after reproducing the issue (from Help | Collect Logs and Diagnostic Data )

I have again re-installed the IntelliJ IDEA 2024.3.2. Now the issue seems resolved. Thank You
