Junie keeps disabling itself after backup sync

Answered

I have Junie installed on Intellij and Webstorm. I do also use DataGrip and PHPStorm, but those don't have Junie yet. Backup and Sync is on for all the IDEs, but the plugins sync is turned off. However, any time I open Intellij and Webstorm it disables Junie after syncing. I have to go and manually turn it on again and again. Am I missing something here? I sync across all tools to have the same appearance and all.

Hello, Siddharth Bhansali. Please accept my apologies for the inconvenience.
I believe you encountered two bugs at the same time: IJPL-157044 (the plugins are synchronized despite the Plugin category being disabled) and IJPL-13103 (the plugin gets disabled if it cannot be installed to one of the IDEs participating in the settings synchronization). For now, I can suggest either disabling Settings Sync or trying to switch synchronization option to <IDE_name> instances only.

I see, thank you for the detailed reply. I will turn off cross sync for now!

any update on this issue?

Five months later still not fixed. If the settings sync is enabled between WebStorm and PhpStorm, the Junie plugin is disabled in both every time I restart the IDE even though it's enabled in both. I had to disable the settings sync.

Please fix your expensive tools!
