Trial ended after update - intended?
Answered
hello,
I just started a trial period right before 2025.2 came out, then updated as it prompted me to do. Now it says in subscriptions “There are no valid licenses associated with the account …”.
My account shows the licenses as expected: IDEA trial until end of August, WebStorm, and perpetual IDEA 12.
I tried the steps here with no success: https://intellij-support.jetbrains.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/20148732511634-Trial-License-Expired-Within-a-Day-for-IntelliJ-IDEA-Ultimate
Is this maybe just intended behaviour? It does say that the trial is for 2025.1, but it's a bit unfortunate that it prompts me to update, then.
I assume that I could just continue the trial for 2025.1 if I downgrade, didn't try.
