How to change the carrot cursor
Hello, I use PyCharm and am interested in changing my cursor while typing text. I would like to use the underscore while typing. How can I do this?

For now it is possible to switch only to the block caret under Settings | Editor | General | Appearance | Use block caret.
As for underscore caret, we have a corresponding feature request IJPL-28715. Please vote for it to receive updates regarding its status. To learn more about using YouTrack, please refer to this article.
