How to stop the scroll in IDEA when mouse moves away from scrollbar and snap back to position before scroll

Hello, looking for a setting to prevent IDEA from continuing to scroll even when the mouse moves away from the scroll bar…. rather it should snap back to its position before scrolling as most apps do. Thx! Z.

Right now there is no option unfortunately, but there is a bug report you could vote for and track: https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/IJPL-49548
