Dataspell Automatic Public Schema Change Issue
This is pretty long and annoying bug that I assume impact many platform not only Dataspell.
When I run a SQL query in a specific schema Dataspell automatically choose the “Public Schema” of that database in each query.
After each query I have to go to chose the schema.

Thank you for the report! Could you let me know if you have any plugins or external DB tools installed? Please try to disable/uninstall them and check if the issue persists.
Please also try to change the Switch schema setting to Manual at the Data Sources and Drivers dialog and let me know if it have any effect. To access it, just click the Data Source Properties button in the Database tool window.
I guess I had enough time to test all option that you have suggested above but none of them are working and the issue is still exist. Please try to fix the bug rather avoid the situation!!

I've run into this too. Dataspell keeps defaulting to the
publicschema instead of the one selected, which gets frustrating when running multiple queries. Check that your target schema is set as the default in the data source settings; if it still resets, it's likely a bug that should be reported to JetBrains with version details and steps to reproduce.
