High CPU usage issue on macOS with PhpStorm
Hello,
I am constantly experiencing issues with very high CPU usage from PhpStorm on my Mac. The application often consumes a significant amount of resources, which slows down my system and affects my workflow.
Could you please advise me on how to troubleshoot or optimize PhpStorm in order to reduce CPU usage? Any guidance regarding indexing, exclusions, memory settings, or recommended configurations would be greatly appreciated.

Before providing any action steps, it would be useful to inspect the logs. After high CPU usage is detected, collect the logs via Help | Collect Logs and Diagnostic Data, upload the archive to https://uploads.jetbrains.com/, and share the upload ID in the next reply.
