Whining it can't find Android SDK, when using flutter

I can't seem to get IntelliJ to find my Android SDK. If I choose the sdk location used by Android Studio it accepts it but does not add any of the SDKs there. I can't select a specific platform folder under there as IntelliJ says it's not a valid SDK home location.

I've read something that this has to do with Android Studio using a new folder layout/tree that causes IntelliJ not to recognise the SDKs any more… but I can't seem to make it work whatever I do…

Could you please provide more information about this issue:

  1. Create a screenshot of Settings | Languages & Frameworks | Android SDK Updater;
  2. Create a screenshot of File | Project structure | Project and File | Project structure | Modules (dependency tabs to your modules)
  3. What version of the IntelliJ IDEA are you using?
  4. Collect logs via Help | Collect Logs and Diagnostic Data;
  5. Upload your screenshots and archive of IDE logs to our server https://uploads.jetbrains.com/ and provide us with the Upload ID. The uploaded data will be accessible only to our team and will be used solely for investigating this issue.
