Do the Prompts in Prompt Library in AI Assistant use the Rules files for context

If I setup prompts in the Prompt Library (https://www.jetbrains.com/help/ai-assistant/settings-reference-prompt-library.html) do they automatically use the rules I have setup in Rules (https://www.jetbrains.com/help/ai-assistant/settings-reference-rules.html) assuming I have a rule set to apply always?

For example, in my Rules file set to always, I define how I want my unit tests created. Does the Prompt in the Prompt Library for “Generate Unit Tests” import that Rules file when run, or do I need to duplicate the rules in the configuration of the prompt?

That's a solid inquiry. What about attempting to execute the Generate Unit Tests prompt with Rules permanently switched on? I have observed that Rules still get applied, but the individual prompt might take precedence over them in case of a disagreement.

Hello. By default, project rules are automatically added to the default prompt in each chat session, ensuring that AI Assistant Chat adheres to the provided guidelines. Project rules set to "Always" should automatically apply to AI Assistant chat sessions. However, there are known cases where this doesn’t always work as expected. To ensure your rules are consistently applied, especially for specific actions like "Generate Unit Tests," it is recommended to include or duplicate your rules directly in the Prompt Library. This helps ensure they’re consistently applied, including for AI Actions outside of the AI Assistant Chat.
