Cannot add WSL Python interpreter - stuck on WSL distribution introspection

I'm trying to add WSL Python interpreter to my project. When I select:
> Project Structure → SDKs → Add Python Interpreter → WSL
I get a window that says both “Introspection completed succesfully” and “WSL distribution introspection (loading)” at the same time. It is not possible to click “Next”. Please see screenshot bellow.

Hello,

I checked on my side and did not reproduce the issue. Please check if the issue is still observed after disabling third-party plugins (Settings | Plugins).

If it does not help, create YouTrack ticket and attach a log archive, which can be found under Help | Collect Logs and Diagnostic Data.

I found already existing YouTrack ticket for this from 6 days ago - https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/PY-86298/Unable-to-add-WSL-Python-SDK. So I will not be creating another one.
