IntelliJ has no per-setting restore and change indicators

Applying to the platform in general, there appear to be no way to know which settings have been changed from default, and there is no per-setting (or even per-page) restore, with the exception of a few schema-pages like keymaps. Given how “setting rich” is intelliJ compared to other software (i'm counting 2x Visual Studio and over), in my humble opinion this is mind-boggling. May this be an issue that could be addressed?
