Remote Development Markdown Preview

I am using PHPStorm via remote development using the Jetbrains Gateway over SSH.

While I can see the rendered markdown output in the preview, there is no way to export to either PDF or HTML, both are greyed out.

I can get export to Word going occasionally using PanDoc, although the IDE does see to get confused as to whether it wants to run it on the host or the client and sometimes can find PanDoc on the host and sometimes not.

Is there some magic to getting it working?

Unfortunately, there is no known workaround for it. If we find a workaround or fix the problem, we will update the issue.

Ah, ok, thanks for the update.

At least I can stop trying to get it to work.
