Ultimate 2018.1 freezes constantly on MacOS Sierra and High Sierra

I've decided to start a new post since it's getting more and more annoying... Yes, IntelliJ hangs and become unusable making the entire system to slow down or hard to wake up once put into sleep. The symptoms are always the same, IntelliJ window not responding, "spinning wheel of death" showing etc. I can provide any logs if necessary. Also, I have moved from Sierra to High Sierra in the meantime but it didn't help in solving the matter.
Any news on the possible solution or anything I can do temporarily to remedy the situation?

Any progress fixing this? It gets really annoying losing results of code editing for last 5 minutes after Idea gets unresponsive.

I last week I got a new version from IDEAJ 2018.1 but I can't use the IDEAJ, every time the IDE is freezing.
I have monitoring my CPU and the IDEAJ process achieves 99% .
I have notice many people in the internet facing that issue.
Could someone tell me if there is a new release or patch to fix that issue?

Adrian Wieczorek probably already do that. I would create duplicate data reports.
Performance problems, like freezes, may be caused by different subsystems, so we prefer to investigate every case separately.
