PyCharm debugger not working in version 2018.1.4

PyCharm debuggers not working with version 2018.1.4

Debugger for all scripts end up with Process finished with exit code -1073741819 (0xC0000005)

without entering the program.

I can see the bug has been mentioned in various posts already. Reverting to previous version of PyCharm solve the issue
