New lessons not added to existing course.

I am in the process of developing a course and for testing I put it on Stepik.org. When I add new lessons to my course and click on "Synchronize Course" from the Stepik icon, it shows a progress bar that uploads the course and modules to stepik but when I go to Stepik, I do not see the changes. Am I missing something?

P.S. If I delete the course from Stepik and make a fresh upload, I see everything but this wont work once I am done with course design and people have started to use it. I need to be able to add modules on the fly and sync with current course.
